The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Higher Education Program is provided for enrolled members as a means of gaining an education or training with hopes that one day they may return to work for the tribe as valuable employees. All applicants must meet program requirements for services offered:
GED Assistance
Higher Education - for a first-time associate or bachelor's degree
Vocational Training - vocational/certificate training
Career Enhancement - short-term certification enrichment, training field licensing renewal
Funding is based on the Financial Needs Analysis provided by each school. Incentives are provided upon completion of the program. Other types of services offered are referrals and interviews, and tours of local training programs or schools.
