The mission of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Child Care Program is to improve the quality of child care for children and their families. RSIC Child Care serves tribal families who reside in the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony. This program serves parents who must be employed, seeking employment, or attending school or a training program. A sliding scale fee is available for eligible participants. This program is funded by Tribal and 477 program funds.
The child care program provides center-based quality child care for children ages 3 months to 13 years old.
Meals are prepared and served at each site sponsored by the State of Nevada Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and RSIC Tribal funds.
