Picture of a home interiorThe Lease to Purchase program provides homeownership opportunities to eligible Tribal RSIC Applicants who do not exceed 80% of HUD Median Family Income. The below are links to important documents of the program.

RE-CERTIFICATIONS

Annual Recertifications are due every year. 

Interim Recertifications are due upon any changes in the family composition (background checks will be required for adult additions) and/or income changes for the household.

CONVEYANCE

After the participant has been successful in satisfying all the obligations under the Lease/MHOA. A Tribal Resolution and a BIA Recording satisfy the requirements for releasing the home from the RSICHD Project.

Keep housing updated with any household changes required to complete recording, such as;       Name Changes - Updates for Successors - Contact Information - And any additional documentation required to complete the conveyance process.



Lease or Assignments

Initial Project Leases are fifty (50) years. After fifty (50) years a new land lease or assignment,  will need to be in place, call Planning for consultation.

Q: What is acceptable Verification of Income?

A: 24 CFR 5.609 Annual income

Q: Who completes a background Application with housing?

A: All adult members of the household, prior to move in.
