Victim Services Program
MISSION: The RSIC Victim Services Program envisions a safe secure community where all are held sacred living without fear, and all having the opportunity to pursue their dreams of a brighter future.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW: The RSIC Victim Services Program promotes a safe and secure community by developing and providing quality services and resources that promote victim healing, recovery, and community awareness. The RSIC Victim Services Program provides an emphasis on education and information geared to the form of victimization that the individual has experienced and presented with. The program is open to all victims of crime regardless of any legal court action.
Hours of Operation: RSIC Victim Services Program operating hours, between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Appointments are scheduled through the VSP staff at (775) 329-5071, ext. 7969 and ext. 7930.
After Hours Services: RSIC Victim Services Program staff will have a rotating on-call schedule to be available to respond to emergency calls from RSIC Law Enforcement in the event of a Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Sex Trafficking, Dating Violence, Stalking, and other Victim of Crime calls. RSIC Police Officers on duty will contact the VSP staff as needed. Individuals will be informed that they may call 911 after-hours in the event of an emergency. Individuals will also be informed of other agencies that they can contact for assistance, such as.

SERVICES PROVIDED: The RSIC Victim Services Program (VSP) provides emergency shelter, food, clothing, hygiene, and transportation. The program will provide case management services included by not limited to filing a Temporary Protection Order (TPO) or Extended Protection Order (EPO), assistance with filing a police statement, safety planning, self-sustainability planning, support groups, and applying for financial assistance program services, and referrals to outside agencies.
