The mission of the K-12 Education Program is to prepare and promote the best possible educational opportunities for all students of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.

RSIC Education Advisors and Tutors work with students who attend Washoe County School District designated schools:  Hidden Valley Elementary, Jesse Hall Elementary, Shaw Middle, Vaughn Middle, Spanish Springs High, Wooster High and Pyramid Lake Jr. /Sr. High.

Kindergarten transportation is provided to designated elementary schools.  In-School Tutoring and After School Tutoring are provided for elementary students by RSIC Education Tutors.  Homework assistance is provided Monday–Thursday at each center.

RSIC Education Advisors provide guidance support and referrals for students and parents with Washoe County School District teachers and counselors.

Both centers have the Washoe County School District Infinite Campus kiosk sites where parents can log on to view their child’s grades, behavior and attendance.  Both centers have internet access available in computer rooms for all students and community members.
