The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Higher Education Program is provided for enrolled members as a means of gaining an education or training with hopes that one day they may return to work for the tribe as valuable employees. All applicants must meet program requirements for services offered:
- GED Assistance
- Higher Education – for a first time associate or bachelor’s degree
- Vocational Training – vocational/certificate training
- Career Enhancement – short term certification enrichment, training field licensing renewal
Funding is based on the Financial Needs Analysis provided by each school. Incentives are provided upon completion of program. Other types of services offered are referrals and interviews, tours of local training programs or schools.
