The Culture of Weaving: Traditional Baskets in Transition

A one of a kind, museum quality exhibit is now open at the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony.  The Culture of Weaving: Traditional Baskets in Transition, a display of historic and spiritual Paiute, Shoshone & Washoe Baskets are open to the public through Aug. 11.

The exhibit may be viewed Monday -Thursday from noon to 4 p.m

Please call ahead at (775) 785-1326 before your planned visit to ensure staff will be on site. The RSIC Cultural Resource/THPO building is accessible for those with disabilities. Due to the construction, pedestrian traffic, and staff schedules, the door may be locked, so please knock .
