Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Information Technology Manager, incumbent will provide technical assistance to RSIC staff and the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Information Technology Program management. This position is responsible for technical assistance on the overall maintenance and upgrades of the network, workstations (desktop and laptop), VoIP communication system, Broadband community service, and hardware and software in conjunction with technical consultants and the IT Committee. Incumbent will support IT management and employees with technological support of desktop and laptop computers, software applications, and other work related technologies. QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
Quality Assurance Coordinator designs, plans, and implement a comprehensive quality assurance management and quality improvement program encompassing clinical and related disciplines at the Reno-Sparks Tribal Health Center. The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the health center’s Quality Assurance and Improvement Program and risk management activities. The QA coordinator serves as a consultant for all accreditation activities. Additionally, the QA Coordinator oversees all health professional licensure and credentialing.

IT Technician
This position is responsible for assisting the IT Manager and supporting the Tribal Health Centers information technology/computer systems. This system of functioning hardware and software must be maintained and supported during all normal working hours due to its support role in providing direct medical care. The Information Technology (IT) Technician will be responsible for helping, support the development, setup and implementation of all aspects of the Indian Health Service Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Resource Patient Management System (RPMS). In addition to clinical applications, the IT Technician also supports administrative and billing services. There are three major components to the services offered by this position: 1) development and enhancement of clinical software, 2) provision and management of network and end-user hardware and operating systems that support the running of application packages, and 3) the management of the information itself.FULL-TIME,NON-EXEMPT
